We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to enhance and maintain the beauty of our clients’ outdoor spaces by planting flowers, trees, and watering. The Landscaper will also be responsible for laying sod, seeding, and other landscaping tasks.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants according to design plans.
- Water plants, lawns, and landscapes to ensure their health and growth.
- Lay sod and seed lawns to establish new grass areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and trimming.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as walkways, retaining walls, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor the health of plants and lawns, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
