Key responsibilities will include assisting in the design and implementation of AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific quality systems, supervising a team of technical professionals, and establishing cross-training programs to ensure department coverage. You will also be responsible for resolving first-level escalations, managing metrology and calibration programs, and leading process and product quality improvements.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in quality systems and engineering, with experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required, with Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green Belt certification being a plus. Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, or biomedical is also beneficial.
