Job Title: CNC Machinist
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our Plastic Machining Department. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines and equipment to produce parts with tight tolerances from different materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC lathes and mills, to produce parts with tight tolerances
- Comply with federal and state environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company safety policies and protocols
- Work with blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Assist in programming CNC equipment to manufacture various components, including first article approval and inspection equipment operation
- Edit programs using bar puller, live tooling, and automation
- Setup and run production parts of complex geometries, including grooves and notches
- Fabricate lathe products using customer or GT drawings with minimum supervision
- Make adjustments and assist operators to produce quality parts at a rapid pace
Requirements:
- Minimum 36 months of CNC Lathe and Multi-axis Mill experience in a production environment
- NC programming, set up, troubleshooting, and run experience
- G-code knowledge and ability to edit CNC Programs for various lathes and mills
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds without assistance
