Position Objective: Greenfield Contractors is looking for an outgoing and well-organized Sales Representative. The role is to drive growth and to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and construction, with a keen ability to identify new opportunities and build a lasting relationship with clients.
Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., although there may be changes based upon project requirements.
Position will require travel. Candidates will have the option to choose their home base in either Clermont, IA or Princeville, IL.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and expand market reach.
- Identify potential clients and engage in proactive outreach to establish relationships.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients, identify their needs, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the Design department to develop concepts, oversee pricing, and lead presentations to secure project agreements.
- Develop, present, and negotiate contracts, ensure client agreements and payments are in place, and manage change orders and project updates.
- Meet revenue goals, submit weekly forecasts, and report on sales activities and results to the Sales Manager.
- Maintain detailed project records, gather client feedback, request referrals, thank the client for business.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required.
- 5 Years Sales Experience
- Experience with estimating and Contract Writing (preferred).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and analysis skills.
- Prior experience in customer relationship management and marketing.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Compensation and Benefits
- $50,000-$60,000/year Commission.
