Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to produce high-precision machined parts by programming, setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines. This role ensures that production meets quality, efficiency, and safety standards while maintaining records and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to customer work orders.
- Run tools per specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed.
- Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment.
- Document production data, including tool counts, scrap rates, and process updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following Environmental, Quality, and Quantity (EQQ) standards.

- CNC Machine Operation & Setup – Proficiency in programming, operating, and adjusting CNC machines.
- Precision Measuring & Inspection – Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, protractors, and shadowgraphs to ensure accuracy.
- Blueprint Reading – Ability to interpret blueprint specifications for machining processes.
- Grinding & Tooling Experience – Experience in surface grinding, I.D. grinding, chamfering, and tracking circular chasers & fette rolls.
- Mechanical & Troubleshooting Skills – Ability to adjust machine settings, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment.
- Computer Proficiency – Strong understanding of machine controls and production tracking software.
- Attention to Detail & Quality Control – Ensuring each part meets specifications and identifying potential defects.
- Physical Stamina – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, stoop, climb, and walk for 8 hours.
- Communication & Teamwork – Work effectively within a team and communicate across departments.
- Organization & Documentation – Ability to complete paperwork accurately and track production data.
Experience & Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing experience required
- Experience with specific materials, precision levels, or machine types may be required
