JOB SUMMARY :
Process a variety of transactions pertaining to trust customers’ accounts. Maintain and keep information up to date on trust processing system. Provide support to Operations, Trust Investment Officers, and Trust Administrative Officers as needed.
DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :
- Verify and process to the trust system through various websites and reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis including but not limited to :
Purchases and sales initiated by the Investment Officers
Dividends and interest on stocks, bonds, mutual funds, certificate of deposits and money marketsMaturities, calls, splits, mergers, etc.Cost basis adjustmentsFree receipts and free deliveries of assetsTrust customers contributionsProcess trust customers distributions via check, online bill pay or ACHVerify trust customers daily cash balances to ensure minimal overdrafts are incurred, notify Investment Officers and Administrative Officers of account overdrafts in a timely and accurate mannerProcess money market daily to cover trust customers distributions, purchases and feesMeet daily processing time lines including totals to accountingReconcile end of day processing to system reports and reconcile previous day’s workMaintain and keep up to date ticklers, pending disbursements, online bill pay, recurring items, income maps and trust masters on trust systemSet up and process funeral trust accounts, contributions and distributionsSet up and maintain securities on trust system; bonds, stocks, mutual funds, etc.Respond and process corporate actions through Fifth Third BankProvide support and process tax payments and feesFile all correspondence, memos, bills, etc. in corresponding trust customer filesBe up to date and knowledgeable with all computer trust processes and enhancements to ensure processing is completed efficientlyProvide back up as neededPerform other similar duties as required by responsibility or requested by department headRequirements :
High school diplomaStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workProficient in MS Word, Excel, and OutlookEvery GSB employee is expected to :
