The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative support to the Human Resources and Payroll functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the processing of weekly payroll: ensure all timecards are submitted and approved, audit weekly timecards, enter manual timecards as needed.
- Updates and enters employee information into HRIS system
- Responsible for I-9 verifications and maintains employee files
- Provides ongoing staffing support such as tracking/updating staffing requisitions, answer applicant questions, etc to Human Resources Generalist
- As required, may assist in setting up interviews
- Maintain and update information in Excel and Word as needed.
- Run labor reports in HRIS and Excel for all departments.
- Responsible in answering phone calls, voicemails, filing.
- Create and print badges
- Auditing data integrity utilizing excel (VLOOKUP's, basic calculations).
- Primary contact for employees and the general public.
- Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Experience Required
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of administrative or office experience
- Previous experience in a food production facility preferred
- Knowledge of Paycom recommended
Education/ Licenses/ Certification/ Formal Training:
- High School Diploma
- Associates degree in Business or related field
Essential Abilities:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, Outlook or related software.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential concerns.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and terminal use.
- May be required to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Hand dexterity and strength.
Work Schedule and Environment:
- Ability to work occasional weekends, early days and holidays as needed
- Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, flexible for overtime as needed
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled office environment in a Production type facility.
