What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at Greengate Fresh Lllp?
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Regional Sales Manager reports to the VP of National Accounts and contributes to company growth by initiating, planning and executing against strategic sales and business development plans.
- You will have broad responsibilities for the Companys new business objectives, working with the Company to set strategy and in sustaining and growing sales to existing customers.
- You will work with regional and national restaurant chains, distributors, retailers and end-users to build positive and profitable business relationships.
- You will work to bring solutions in product development, coordinate delivery and logistics where applicable and spend a significant portion of your work time in the marketplace in direct interaction with buyers and decision-makers.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5 years of experience managing national accounts within the Produce industry.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with major national and regional accounts.
- Produce sales experience in Food Service, National/Regional chain accounts.
- Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Must have effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Must have personal integrity, flexibility, dependability, ability to work within policy guidelines and to work independently.
- This role will require up to 30% travel
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on syndicated data. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively to include cross-functional teams as well.
