Role Overview:
The Director of Product will oversee and refine our fabric selection process, ensuring that every collection reflects the quality, innovation, and versatility that Greenhouse Fabrics is known for. This role is pivotal in shaping our product offerings, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership to ensure that our selections align with market demand, business strategy, and industry trends.
This role requires a balance of creative vision and analytical expertise, ensuring every product decision is both customer-focused and data-driven.
Requirements:- Fabric Selection & Collection Curation – Lead product selection and layout decisions for new collections. Use historical sales data, trend forecasting, and hands-on product expertise to ensure our sample books are curated to meet customer needs and market demands.
- Vendor Optimization & Partnerships – Implement a vendor rating system to identify and prioritize partnerships with high-performance suppliers. Analyze historical data to ensure our top vendors contribute maximum value, refining our sourcing strategy accordingly.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Utilize prior collection performance analysis to guide every product decision. Ensure our product selection is rooted in data, not guesswork.
- Smart Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing – Streamline our purchasing process to ensure every order is intentional, cost-effective, and aligned with demand.
- Product Training & Internal Education – Train and educate our teams on the features, benefits, and applications of our fabrics. Ensure our teams can speak with confidence about our latest collections and position our products effectively in the market.

Experience with Mills & Print Companies – You have hands-on experience creating custom fabrics in collaboration with mills and print companies. Experience working with contract designers is a plus.
