What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant (PRN) position at Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital?
- Responsible for employee requirements ensuring compliance according to JHACO and CMS standards
- Create personnel files and file all Human Resources paperwork in a timely manner and in compliance with chart order
- Types memos and letters as well as post and distribute correspondence
- Keep all HR boards updated to standard
- Prepares and copies New Employee Personnel Packets.
- Assists with completion of New Employee personnel paperwork.
- Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data into HRIS system
- Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as maintains hospital licenses and certifications needed
NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION & TRAINING
- Notifies Director of Human Resources of employees failing to complete training despite being notified at the end of each month.
- Logs all completed training’s in Human Resources database.
- Makes and files copies of training’s in each personnel file.
- Assists in ensuring compliance with JCAHO training’s.
- Confirming with employees and trainers the time, day and length of their training.
- Assists in binding and collecting required personnel paperwork during new employee orientation.
BENEFITS

DATA COLLECTION
- Run employee reports and analyze and report data findings to HR Director

Experience
Required- 2 year(s): Most qualified candidates will have at least two years experience in HR Support role preferred. Associates degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
