Position Description :

The IT Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives. The role involves analyzing, documenting, and improving processes, systems, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and deliver value. The IT Business Analyst will also support project delivery by defining requirements, ensuring clarity, and facilitating communication across teams. Key Responsibilities :
Requirements Gathering and Analysis :
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IT projects.
Translate business needs into technical requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to optimize systems and workflows.
Process Improvement :
Analyze and map current business processes; propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and document process changes.
Support change management initiatives for process and system improvements.
Solution Design and Delivery :
Partner with developers, solution architects, and vendors to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of new IT systems and tools.
Perform functional and system testing to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.
Documentation and Communication :
Create and maintain clear documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
Act as the communication bridge between IT and business stakeholders.
Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
Project Support :
Assist in project planning, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Support project managers by monitoring project progress, tracking issues, and ensuring timely delivery.
Data Analysis and Reporting :
Analyze system data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports and dashboards to assist in decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within IT or technology projects.
Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and creating documentation.
Experience with software testing, including test planning and execution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and other business analysis tools.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills :
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or similar).
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud solutions.
Familiarity with project management tools
