- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current RN license in New Mexico
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active DEA registration for prescribing medications
- Experience: Clinical experience in psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapy
- Technical Skills: Expertise in psychopharmacology, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention
- Soft Skills: Strong empathy, active listening, and ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with precision
- Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare teams for holistic care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services
