Position Overview:

Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current state medical license.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Active DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
- Experience: Completion of residency in Psychiatry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnostics, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy modalities.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, empathy, and ability to communicate effectively with patients and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
- Diagnose disorders using DSM-5 criteria and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting dosages as needed.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions for patients when clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers for integrated care.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and update treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
