Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with a welcoming atmosphere.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions by understanding their preferences and needs.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos and upselling techniques.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized display area, ensuring that all products are well-stocked and presented attractively.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, employing excellent phone etiquette.
- Foster a positive shopping experience by delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred; experience in a grocery store setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with cannabis products and industry trends is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
