Overview:
This dual role includes the responsibility to research, obtain and manage all grant and voucher programs available from various levels of governments for the benefit to electrify transportation geared to our target markets. As grants and vouchers are key to the success of our sales and revenue goals, this role also oversees the customer journey from the initial quote or prospect stage through to the delivery of the vehicle. Once the vehicle is delivered, responsibility transitions to the Delivery Team for handover, The Finance Team for invoicing and collections, and the Service Team for ongoing service and support. This position reports to the CEO and the President. This fulltime position is in Riverside California and is not a remote position. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities Client Fulfillment
- Provide executive level support to the Sales Team and/or Dealers by writing compelling proposals, quotes or sales presentations tailored to individual clients to help generate leads and prospects that will result in revenue generation.
- Order management leadership- lead the end-to-end order management process from purchase order confirmation and entry to fulfillment ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary conduit for cross functional supply chain between the Supply Chain Team, Contract Manufacturers, Production, Project Manager to: ensure timing/availability of production to fulfill customer orders, ensure availability of other parts, components required to fulfill customer orders; and collaborate across departments as needed to ensure customer orders are produced and shipped on-time and in-full.
- Establish active communication and engage with Sales Representatives to ensure prompt processing of orders, timely client communication and seamless sales operations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for senior management by providing real time updates on delivery schedules, potential disruptions and strategic resolutions.
- Contribute to overall improvements in customer satisfaction by fostering and enhancing the overall customer experience by championing a client centric order process.
- Lead inventory oversight management to achieve uninterrupted order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and maintain comprehensive, well-organized sales reports and generate executive level reports to inform strategic decision making for maximizing corporate growth objectives.
- Working with the sales team, develop and manage performance dashboards and deliver actionable sales goals and forecasts to senior management.
Responsibilities Grant Management
- Research various grants available and the criteria to qualify.
- Oversee and execute the identification, application and administration of relevant grants, incentives and voucher programs. Ensure compliance with regulatory and streamline processes specifically to repeat markets such as California and West Virginia.
- Responsible for all grant writing proposals ensuring grant requests meet applicable requirements.
- Submit and track various grants, incentives, vouchers to ensure customers have the financial assistance that is available to purchase our products. Plus submit or direct filing requirements with various agencies.
- Manage or assist with the filing requirements for tradable credits including the Advance Clean Truck (ACT) credits, Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) credits, and Green House Gas credits (GHG).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or related field.
- Industry experience in the automotive or transportation sector.
- 5 year's experience in client relations or account management.
- Experience in clean (green) energy and or the transportation industry is highly desirable.
Skills
- Proven track record in customer experience management, customer service or related field.
- Strong understanding of customer journey in a transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Superior English writing skills in English language.
- Excellent skills with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage various projects and work to achieve both customer fulfillment and grants management goals.
- Experience with customer experience tools, CRM and quoting platforms highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $100,000 USD. (less usual payroll withholding taxes). Affordable Healthcare Benefits.
