We are looking for an experienced Director of Greenhouse Operations. It is the responsibility of this position to manage all aspects of Greenhouse supply chain initiatives, policies, and objectives. They will oversee the inventory, distribution, and transportation activities of an organization.

Responsibilities
- Establish & maintain a strategic and operational vision to support the organizations growth
- Ability to coach and develop the Operations team to give their best continuous improvement efforts
- Lead and support cross-functional management such as retail and wholesale operations, facility management and logistics and business specific initiatives
- Set the tone for operational excellence for servicing the operations internal and external customer needs
- Proactively deploy best practices seeking standardization across processes, systems and tools for warehouse and distribution
- Accountable for achieving an annual operating and expense budget of approx. $5M
- Responsible for the staging and loading of 7K annual truckloads
- Manage the operations team to meet or exceed internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and hold logistics operations accountable for maintaining a safety culture that meets or exceeds annual safety target
- Manage the day-to-day retail and wholesale operations and logistics, meeting performance standards and productivity metrics
- Complete involvement in sales and marketing aspects to continue overall growth potential
- Lead the sales effort of organic products to insure continuous movement of product at a profit
- Provide exceptional customer service and customer retention
- Provide monthly projection data and analysis
- Review year-to-date and prior year budget data comparisons
- Ensure facilities meet all Federal and State Regulations, OSHA and local requirements
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a closely related
- Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Distribution and Logistics Management
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proven ability to lead, build others’ skills, and accountability
- Ability to effectively communicate at various levels in support of carrier and merchant relationships
- Demonstrated ability to exercise considerable professional judgment and discretion in building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and merchants
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing priorities using time management and organization skills
- Hands-on management skills that encourage creative problem solving and drive positive change
- Demonstrated business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills
