Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Central Supply and Medical Records Coordinator at Greens at Hendersonville. This dual-role position is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing inventory, coordinating supplies, and maintaining accurate and secure medical records for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Central Supply:
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and other inventory.
- Monitor supply levels and maintain proper inventory controls.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Track vendor invoices and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Medical Records:
- Accurately maintain and update resident medical records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Respond to requests for medical records in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in audits, surveys, or inspections by regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree or higher in a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in central supply management or medical records (required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
