JOB SUMMARY:
Greensboro College, in collaboration with Sichuan Film and Television University (SFU) in Chengdu, China through a 3 1 articulation agreement, is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our joint international program as a Digital and Media Arts Instructor. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach digital and media arts courses in an international academic setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Digital and Media Arts Instructor, you will be responsible for:

Teaching scheduled courses at SFU, providing engaging and high-quality instruction in digital and media arts.

Developing and delivering curriculum that integrates contemporary digital and media arts practices.

Administering course evaluations and participating in course/departmental/programmatic assessment activities.

Supporting students in their academic and creative development through mentorship and feedback.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum of a master’s degree in digital and media arts or a related field.

Preferred qualification: MFA or higher with a concentration in digital and media arts.

Proficiency in teaching digital and media arts, including contemporary media production tools and techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students in a multicultural academic setting.

Ability to adapt to an international teaching environment and foster student creativity and technical skill development.

Willingness to relocate to China is preferred (September – June for fall and spring terms).

Round-trip ticket is provided for arrival in September with departure in June.

Winter break is typically from late December to late February.

Furnished faculty housing is provided for the duration of the assignment.

TOEFL or ESL certification is required for work authorization in China, but this can be obtained after hire and is not a prerequisite to the application.
