Key Responsibilities (Blended Role):
- Sales & Order Management (Commercial Focus): Process commercial sales orders from quotation to delivery, including order clarification, payment, and procurement. Maintain excellent organization and communication throughout the process.
- Customer Relationship Management (Both Commercial & Residential): Build and maintain strong customer relationships across both segments. Proactively manage customer accounts, understand their needs, and ensure positive experiences. Develop and maintain vendor relations.
- Account Management & Project Coordination (Residential Focus): Oversee specific residential customer accounts, ensuring seamless coordination across customer service, operations, and supply chain functions.
- Product & Technical Expertise (Both Commercial & Residential): Develop and maintain a strong understanding of both commercial and residential solar products (inverters, racking, modules, battery systems) from various manufacturers. Learn about product features, applications, and technical specifications. Stay updated on solar technology advancements.
- Technical Quoting & Design Support (Commercial Focus): Interpret design packets and single-line diagrams to accurately quote commercial projects. Utilize vendor design tools and solar design software.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement (Residential Focus): Develop an understanding of company operations and analyze data to help increase operational efficiencies. Develop strategies to improve processes and streamline the supply chain. Create processes and strategies to help customers stay organized and informed.
- Pricing & Availability (Both Commercial & Residential): Engage in pricing and availability discussions with team, customers, and vendors for both market segments.
- Team Collaboration & Support (Both): Ensure cohesion and a seamless flow between various departments. Provide insight into purchasing decisions. Support the warehouse team as needed with order preparation and accuracy. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to business goals.
- Learning & Development: Be eager to learn and participate in solar technology trainings to continuously expand knowledge and provide informed advice to customers.

- Experience: Experience in warehousing, distribution, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or associates degree in relevant field OR 2 years industry experience
Working conditions vary and will include warehouse, office, and external environments.
- Activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions.
- Office work may include sitting for extended periods.
- May include some travel – both by car and by air
- Manufacturing client facilities may have hazards or dirty conditions.
- Best to expect 9 hour days being the norm.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Proactive client account management: Account Manager/Proactive Inside Sales will be assigned specific customer accounts and will be accountable for those clients having a consistently positive experience.
- Processing orders.
- Quoting and consulting on technology specs.
- Help our clients migrate and modernize continuously.
- Drive client spec.
- Make site visits to intimately understand our clients’ business and educate them our ways to improve their business with technology.
- Answer phones, take walk-ins, and answer client emails.
- Build and work a strategic business plan.
- Support our team’s growth and find new ways to creatively service our clients.
