GreenTree is actively seeking a creative, innovative, and ambitious individual to be our Limited Service – Hotel General Manager in Flagstaff, AZ.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing daily hotel operations in a limited service hotel
- Improve hotel's overall performance and achieve budget/plan
- Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction and brand standards compliance
- Hire, train and monitor team member performance, providing supervision, professional development, scheduling and evaluations
- Conduct staff meetings and work with team to set and achieve goals
- Conduct guestroom, cleanliness and general property inspections
- Monitor daily room inventory and comp set rates to ensure competitiveness and assess price-value
- Coordinate and lead sales & marketing activities, including local sales
- Conduct monthly meetings with Corporate Office on hotel performance
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting and P&L management
EQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED TRAITS
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business, preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of related work experience in a limited service hotel.
- Ability to take ownership of activities and follow through to completion.
- Experience in a fast-pace, high energy and demanding work environment.
