Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, on hands Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is the perfect job for a Front Desk Manager or Supervisor looking for their next step up.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping and maintenance
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing personalized service and resolving any issues or complaints
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue, attend revenue calls weekly
- Supervise and train staff members, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by enforcing hotel policies and procedures
- Oversee the maintenance of hotel facilities and ensure they are in good working condition
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
-Conduct sales calls, actively scout for business, accounts
Experience:
- Proven experience in hotel management
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and housekeeping standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and build a diverse team
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with human resources practices, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries or complaints effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and front desk software is preferred
- Independent, self-starter looking to further your career
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
