GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ITT- Information Technology department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Full stack developer to provide solutions in support of business units in the college. Will gather requirements and scope of work to build and provide applications or process solutions to meet critical business process needs. Will program front end interfaces that connect back-end systems, leveraging data to provide efficient and effective full scope applications or business process solutions. Works with IT team consisting of infrastructure, programmers, developers, and database administrators. Must attend meetings and advise best practices in process of providing technical solutions. Will communicate with college employees on all levels in the process of designing, building, testing, and deploying applications or solutions. Will leverage multiple programming languages, data access and transfer methods and protocols, API and other interface techniques, cloud computing, and other technologies that are required for designing, building, testing, and deploying applications or full scope solutions. Will serve as system administrator in college core ERP, SIS, and/or CRM systems to leverage the in-system capabilities in providing business process solutions. System admin will require growing knowledge and experience in the specified system which will include administrating access through roles and permissions, security protocols, and system functionality. Will connect external solutions, custom and 3rd party, to college core systems when necessary to facilitate business process improvement.
Work will be onsite in Greenville SC, weekdays M-Th 7:30a-5p, Fri 8a-1p. Reports to IT Applications and Data Services team. May require some after hours or weekends as needed or travel for conferences or training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma and six (6) years work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. A bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Full stack development experience. Proficient use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks for front end development. Server-side logic using Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or other back-end technologies. Proficiency utilizing APIs (RESTful or GraphQL).
