GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the IE - Instit Effectiveness department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Implement and maintain departmental dashboards, databases, and other modes of making data and resources available to appropriate stakeholders.
- Extract and analyze data to prepare reports and presentations for adhoc requests, institutional initiatives, research requests, and externally sponsored funding projects.
- Extract data from GTC databases and systems to prepare reports and presentations for internal and external ad hoc data requests.
- Extract, verify, and submit required CERS database reporting elements, free of EDSS errors, according to the published deadlines five times a year to the South Carolina Technical College System (SCTCS
- Work with other offices across campus to identify and correct corrupt or inaccurate institutional data to improve the submission process of the required technical education data records as outlined in State Board for Technical and
- Comprehensive Education Procedure 3-3-101.1.
- Maintain compliance with state and federally required consumer information disclosures by extracting, manipulating, analyzing, and updating required data points.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may substitute for the required work experience. Requires knowledge and skills in data, statistical analysis, and database structures. Requires knowledge of SQL programming language. Must be able to identify and resolve problems. Must be skilled at appropriately and accurately communicating with internal and external customers, including, but not limited to, GTC administration, faculty and staff, and students. Requires attention to detail and excellent proofing skills. Must be able to prepare technical reports in a clear and concise manner for the non-technical reader. Preferred: Data analysis skills as they related to externally sponsored funding and project reporting.
