Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
Greenwave Fulfillment is a small third party logistics provider in Fletcher, North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, maintaining optimal inventory levels,\ and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, operations management and customer service, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Duties

• Assist in managing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Supervise warehouse staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor supply chain activities, including demand planning and transportation management systems.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and operational enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and oversee stock replenishment processes.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles.
• Proven ability in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of profit loss analysis within a warehouse context.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
