Greenway Automotive is seeking a highly motivated, organized, self-starter for the position! The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar position. Candidates must have a pleasant and helpful personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, good computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous automotive dealership experience is a PLUS!
Duties will include, but not limited to: compiling, maintaining accounts payable records and reconciling statements, issue payments to vendors, coding for general ledger, invoice entry, check entry, and other cash management functions.
Responsibilities:
- Review check request support for proper approval and general ledger coding
- Enter and process invoices for payment by designated deadlines
- Perform check runs
- Vendor tracking and invoice reconciliation as needed
- Financial and project reporting and analysis as needed
- Print and mail checks or initiate electronic payment and maintain paid invoice files
- Research any disputed account balances
- Assist in month end closing tasks as assigned
- Perform basic and routine accounting functions
- Provide quality customer service
- Process W-9 forms
- Basic working knowledge of accounting and familiar with debits and credits
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or Finance highly preferred
- Automotive and CDK experience preferred not mandatory
- One year of experience in a business office environment with general accounting responsibilities
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Experienced with business applications and accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Strong data entry and management skills
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Highly professional and dependable
