General Contractor

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of various construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets.
• Supervise subcontractors and construction teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
• Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process promptly.

Experience
Candidates should possess a solid background in construction management with experience in various trades including:

• Bluebeam software for project management and collaboration.
• Concrete finishing techniques for durable surface applications.
• Construction painting for interior and exterior projects.
• Trim carpentry skills for detailed finishing work.
• Fabrication skills for custom components as needed in projects.
• Remodeling experience for residential or commercial spaces.
• Electrical work knowledge to oversee electrical installations safely.
• Construction estimating proficiency to provide accurate cost assessments.
• Drywall installation techniques for creating smooth wall surfaces.
• Tile laying expertise for aesthetic flooring and wall finishes.
