Responsibilities
- Clinical Services Provide comprehensive outpatient psychotherapy (assessment, intervention, and complex treatment planning) to a diverse client population. Maintain an average caseload of 23 weekly client sessions, typically offering 30 available appointment hours per week for a full-time role.
- Documentation Complete case notes and treatment plans in accordance with ethical, professional, and legal standards. Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and consistent with practice policies.
- Client Communication Discuss scheduling, treatment goals, and billing matters in a clear and supportive manner. Inform clients about practice policies, including any fees (e.g., missed appointment charges), while maintaining appropriate boundaries and a therapeutic alliance.
- Collaboration & Meetings Attend paid staff and clinician meetings, including clinical consultation and general office sessions (held monthly to quarterly). Contribute to marketing initiatives (paid time) as needed to promote services and support the practice’s growth.
- Session Format & Flexibility Offer in-person sessions for clients preferring onsite treatment, while providing telehealth options for those seeking remote services. Maintain a flexible schedule that allows for a hybrid of in-person and online appointments, depending on client needs.
- Availability Requirements (Full-Time positions) Provide availability at least three days a week during afternoons and early evenings (e.g., 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm) to meet client demand
Requirements:
- EMDR Level 2 trained (minimum) or actively completing Level 2
- Preferred License Status: Fully Licensed (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or we may also consider candidates who are within six months of completing their licensure requirements if they demonstrate exceptional skills and training.
- Experience (or strong interest) in treating trauma and anxiety
- Comfortable working with adolescents (tweens/teens) and adults
Example of earning potential: Clinicians working approximately 48 weeks per year, seeing an average of 23 clients per week can typically earn approximately $77k full-time benefits. *Listed pay range with really is an approximation because seeing more/less that 23 average weekly clients can affect this yearly average.
