What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Household Assistant position at Greenwich Household Employer?
Greenwich, CT family of four seeks a full-time live-out family assistant to support their household. Candidate will be mainly responsible for keeping the household running smoothly and the home neat, including planning/preparing simple family dinners, periodic laundry/ironing, light cleaning, and local errands. This is not a nanny role as children are older (ages 11, 13), but some supervision & support (e. g., driving to/from local after school activities) will be required; child care experience a plus. Valid driver's license and clean record is a must. The ideal candidate will be reliable, warm, proactive, flexible and possess a positive disposition. Must be dog & cat-friendly (1 of each), highly organized, able to take direction well and be a good communicator. Schedule is M-F, likely split into two shifts (early morning & late afternoon), but willing to flex for the right candidate. Negotiable compensation and benefits based on experience.
