Must be able to perform all operations of front office management, including receiving incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate party, overseeing maintenance of files and medical records, coordination of meeting materials, scheduling of staff and support in payroll processing, onboarding of new staff, ordering of office supplies and keeping to budget, accounts payable/receivables/billing, and be able to work with adult and geriatric patients and their families.
Greenwood Hospice is currently seeking a qualified Hospice/Homecare Front Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- Minimum of five (5) Minimum of five (5) years experience in Hospice, Home Health, Long Term Care or related field with a sound knowledge base through training and/or experience in health care with an understanding of palliative/terminal care.
- Possesses strong leadership skills; enjoys working with people, assertive, mature, approachable and open-minded.
- Demonstrates ability to supervise administrative personnel.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Background reflecting strong interpersonal skills including the ability to market, teach and relate tactfully with staff and members of the community/customers.
- Computer skills and ability to use software systems.
