Your responsibilities at GVS.
- Manages company benefit programs and work with employees to enroll in benefits. Work with leadership on benefit design and administration.
- Proven experience in compensation management, including salary benchmarking, incentive programs, and benefits analysis and ensures that the compensation strategy is in line with industry best practices.
- Processes and tracks all Workers Compensation (WC) injuries, illness, and claims. Responds to any inquiries related to WC injuries and provides accurate compliance reporting (OSHA logs, postings, etc.).
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees.
- Works with HR Director to develop, update, and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manages performance review program. Create/maintain a tracking system to ensure all employees receive annual review and in accordance with company policy.
- Manages FMLA and ADA leave requests.
- Assists Talent Acquisition & Development Director on recruitment activities.
- Maintains knowledge of company compensation programs.
- Advises leaders on appropriate application of policies and procedures.
- Leads and develops HR Generalist. Provides day-to-day direction which includes assessing performance, delegating tasks, and providing development opportunities for growth.

- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field or 7 years human resources generalist experience.
- Compensation Experience required
- Experience working with benefit brokers a plus
