The Mission:
As the Night Shift Automation Technician, you'll be the first responder to any technical challenges that arise during the late shift. You'll be the go-to expert for electrical troubleshooting, ensuring our production lines keep humming even when the lights are low.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Troubleshooting & Repair: Act as a detective, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues on production equipment. You'll read schematics, investigate wiring problems, troubleshoot PLCs and ladder logic, and work with robotic and vision systems.
- Material Handling System Maintenance: Keep our material movement vehicles and related track in top condition with electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Automation System Support: Troubleshoot a variety of plant automation systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production operators and leadership, keeping them informed about the status of repairs and potential solutions.
- Documentation: Meticulously document all work performed in work logs.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Vocational/Technical School diploma or certification in electrical fundamentals/troubleshooting is required.
- Experience is great, but a passion for problem-solving and a strong understanding of electrical principles is even better!
- (Bonus points for an Associate's degree in an electronics-related field or 6 months of industrial electrical troubleshooting experience!)
