GREGOR INDUSTRIES is seeking a mid level Construction Scheduler to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in creating and maintaining project schedules and be highly proficient in Microsoft Project. In addition to scheduling duties, this role will also support the Estimating Department with various pre-construction tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuing all timelines, milestones, and deadlines are met.
- Monitor and update schedules: Regularly update project schedules to reflect changes, such as resource allocation, scope adjustments, and unforeseen delays.
- Coordinate with Project Teams: Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather relevant scheduling date and ensure alignment on timelines.
- Analyze and Address Scheduling Conflicts: Identify potential scheduling issues, conflicts, or risks and adjust plant to mitigate delays or disruptions.
- Support Estimating Department: Assist in preparing cost estimates and project bids by performing material take offs, gathering quotes, and reviewing subcontractor proposals.
- Report Generation: Produce regular progress reports for management, highlighting schedule performance and any deviations from the original plan.
- Process Optimization: Continuously look for ways to improve scheduling processes and contribute to a more efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a solid understanding of project workflows.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
- Experience supporting the estimating process, including familiarity with pre-construction tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience working with general contractors or in the facilities maintenance sector.
- Familiarity with other scheduling or project management software (e.g., Primavera P6) is a plus.
