Recruiter - Human Resources
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. You will work closely with educational institutions and industry networks to attract top talent and help build our company’s workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Candidates:
- Identify and attract candidates using job boards, social media, and networking events. Build and maintain relationships with trade schools,
- vocational programs, and community colleges to source skilled talent. Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and
- networking opportunities.
Screening & Interviews:
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other team members.
- Administer pre-employment tests and conduct reference checks.
Relationship Building:
- Develop partnerships with educational institutions to create internship programs and entry-level opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to keep them informed and engaged.
- Promote the company’s culture and values to attract top talent.
Offer & Onboarding:
- Work with HR and hiring managers to extend job offers and negotiate terms.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring they have a smooth start.
- Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate new hire orientation.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of candidate interactions, interview notes, and hiring decisions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics to HR leadership.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly review and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive HR information.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in a corporate environment.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the recruitment process.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and improve recruitment methods.
- Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR tools.
- Understanding of human resources principles, recruitment best practices, and employment laws.
- Time management skills to handle a high volume of recruitment activities and meet deadlines.
