Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate project contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure contracts align with project requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Customer Specific project qualification documentation and tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, amendments, and related documents.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry-specific safety and licensing requirements.
- Review and verify insurance certificates to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Track subcontractor and supplier insurance coverage, including expiration dates, and request updated certificates as needed.
- Corporate and Trade professional license management and tracking
- Customer-specific corporate and project qualifications documentation and tracking.
- Identify potential risks in contracts and recommend solutions to minimize exposure.
- Collaborate with legal teams to address disputes, claims, or ambiguities in contract language.
- Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers for contract-related matters.
- Guide project teams on contractual obligations and best practices.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction regulations, and risk management.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
