Roll Forming Engineer
Summary:
The Roll Form Engineer is responsible for the tooling & process design, implementation, operation, and maintaining to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The Roll Form Engineer is responsible for the tooling & process design, implementation, operation, and maintaining to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor roll forming performance to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
- Evaluating roll forming equipment and tooling to ensure adequate preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Monitor and improve methods to do setups on each roll former to improve uptimes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and operating instructions.
- Coordinate T&D activities with internal T&D department and external vendors.
- Lead investigations into tooling and equipment needs and new product development.
- Support sales staff with technical knowledge of products.
- Assist Operations in evaluating incoming inquiries for new products.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Skills:
- Highly analytical problem solving.
- Expert proficiency with Computer Aided Drafting software and roll forming tooling.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows
- High level of time management and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively lead and influence across the organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement and problem-solving skills such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in engineering discipline.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of Roll Forming Industry experience.
