Job description
Gregory Ralph, Architect (GRA Design Studio) is a mid-size architecture firm providing services to both high end residential, and retail commercial clients. Qualifications
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge of survey techniques and procedures.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good judgment and organizational skills.
- Have a valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to drive/travel for long continuous hours.
- Ability to drive personal car when necessary.
- Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously.
- Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc).
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time.
- Must have good computer skills and be able to learn survey related software / equipment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit is preferred.
- Architecture/design background preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Clients/Brokers/Landlords to schedule site visits.
- Book travel arrangements and keep records of said transactions biweekly.
- Maintain communication/relationship with Clients until project moves out of survey phase.
- Apply standard surveying techniques in the field to plan and execute field surveys.
- Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment – Faro scanners, Matterport scanners, flying drones.
- Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions when necessary.
- Accurately records field data.
- Review, download, and process field data.
- Prepare detailed job reports and discuss projects with team leads daily.
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment.
- Drafting and editing of survey existing conditions using Recap, Revit and AutoCAD.
