ROLE OVERVIEW : We are seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to lead a team of hourly colleagues on our brand-new state-of-the-art Corrugated Converting Machine. You must have experience as a Supervisor in a Corrugated manufacturing facility, preferably leading a team on a Corrugated Converting machine. Shift Hours - Night (6 PM -6 AM) Shift Schedule - Days Off and On rotate each week, 2-2-3, per the following pattern : 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, etc. Compensation / Benefits : This position offers an exceptional total compensation package unmatched anywhere in the market, a testament to our commitment to valuing and appreciating our employees! • Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities typically include evaluating team members to achieve operational results and making staffing decisions. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.
• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of production operations and monitors colleague productivity.
• Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans, and performance criteria.
• Ensure all team members are adhering to all company safety rules
• Runs shift meetings, confirm production progress, and responds to delays.
• Creates and implements group improvement plans.
• Ensures team understands roles and responsibilities relating to the team and the company.
• Encourages joint problem-solving, personal safety, and individual development.
• Implements and enforces compliance with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitors work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Required
• 5-7 years of experience as a production leader in a corrugated manufacturing facility. Knowledge and Skills
• Corrugator and / or Converting operational knowledge and experience required
• In-depth understanding of production operations and processes.
• 7-10 years of supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
