What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Technician I position at Greiner Bio-One Americas?
Your challenge
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Proficiently operate assembly equipment including gel, Cap Assembly, Holder, and Eight Position or Ten Finished Product production lines.
- Achieve and maintain target Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and clear machine faults.
- Utilize basic root cause analysis tools to resolve equipment challenges.
- Perform IPC testing.
- Notify Set-up in order to make needed process changes to
- Complete all required documentation, ensuring adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production performance throughout the shift to ensure goals are met.
- Perform basic math functions and collect, record, and analyze production and quality data.
- Understand and utilize Z-Point Computer Software.
- Raise any manufacturing or equipment issues to supervision or designee promptly to minimize scrap and downtime.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Device History Records (DHR), Production Orders, and Material Lists.
- Ensure components are replenished.
- Always follow cGMP guidelines.
- Complete cleaning of equipment and work area as scheduled
- Collaborate with Technical staff for improvements and participate in periodic equipment maintenance.
- Other duties assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of computer systems
- One year of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
