Role Overview
We are currently seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive business performance at our Pittston, PA facility. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is eager to play a key role in the company’s financial strategy and decision-making, but does not shy away from getting close to the business and personally involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Oversee and challenge all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and present financial data and reports to the parent company, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Partner with and challenge senior leadership to provide financial insights, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax filings.
- Support and challenge operational teams with data-driven financial insights to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate and challenge investment opportunities and support key business decisions with financial modeling and analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing or packaging industries strongly preferred.
- Experience working in an international company is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive financial performance.
