Human Resources and Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Assist in onboarding processes.
- Assist with HR record keeping and maintaining organized and up to date HR personnel files.
- Track new employee immunization and medical requirements.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions, referring them to other HR staff as required.
- Create and manage employee and family surveys.
- Maintain staff file archives.
- Manage center substitutes:
a. Communicate with centers about substitute needs
b. Communicate with substitutes regularly through monthly check-ins and biannual surveys
c. Review seasonal substitute calendars and communicate staffing needs to Personnel Director
d. Assist with onboarding and orientation
e. Approve substitute timecards
Administrative Assistant
- Assist administrative staff as needed.
- Answer phones and greet visitors.
- Website and email updates for new employees.
- Meeting minutes
- Manage company First Aid/CPR courses.
- Oversee staff appreciation.
- Stock office supplies and maintain shared spaces.
- Print enrollment, tour, substitute and orientation packets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Experience working in a childcare setting preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Evidence of emotional maturity and stability.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Organizational skills relating to time management and prioritizing tasks.
