Role Description
Grey Matters Brain Training Studio is seeking a positive, enthusiastic and compassionate Neurofeedback Technician to help children and adults improve their lives through an alternative modality. Under the supervision of an RN, the technician will work directly with clients to provide neurofeedback and administer routine neurofeedback procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer neurofeedback sessions & qEEG testing for clients
- Maintain accurate clinical notes
- Maintain effective communication with team members involved in each client’s care.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and training rooms
- Participate in staff meetings to ensure that processes and workflows run smoothly.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA compliance and company policy.
- Complete administrative tasks as may be requested
Experience/Skills
- Comfortable working with children and adults with special needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, Organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Computer skills
Education and Experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, Neuroscience, or Biology or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA)
