Part-Time Accounting & Office Support Specialist
(Real Estate & Land Development Experience Preferred)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting & Office Support Specialist to join our team. Our company is a local land developer managing multiple projects, and we are looking for someone with experience in real estate development or a related field.
Position Details:
- Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible; open to other availabilities)
- Compensation: Based on experience, please include desired rate in your submission
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the weekly check run process, including:
- Monitoring and organizing the accounting inbox
- Overseeing the invoice approval process
- Renaming and filing invoices/documents
- Printing and processing checks
- Track project budgets and costs
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Help with payroll processing
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain organized financial records and administrative files
- Support general office and administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in real estate, land development, or construction accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Pro or other accounting software
- Familiarity with Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Adobe, and Smartsheets
- Payroll experience is helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
