Part-Time Accounting & Office Support Specialist

(Real Estate & Land Development Experience Preferred)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting & Office Support Specialist to join our team. Our company is a local land developer managing multiple projects, and we are looking for someone with experience in real estate development or a related field.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible; open to other availabilities)
  • Compensation: Based on experience, please include desired rate in your submission

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the weekly check run process, including:
  • Monitoring and organizing the accounting inbox
  • Overseeing the invoice approval process
  • Renaming and filing invoices/documents
  • Printing and processing checks
  • Track project budgets and costs
  • Assist with financial reporting and month-end close processes
  • Help with payroll processing
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain organized financial records and administrative files
  • Support general office and administrative tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in real estate, land development, or construction accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Pro or other accounting software
  • Familiarity with Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Adobe, and Smartsheets
  • Payroll experience is helpful but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
