Job Summary
We are seeking a strong leader to join our team as a Production Superintendent in our Rockies South division office in Vernal, Utah. This role involves leading field operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics of all gas, oil, and water production.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor production performance and implement strategies to optimize output.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions with field personnel.
- Communicate with third-party producers and pipelines.
- Manage company fleet of trucks.
- Manage equipment, inventory, and associated storage yards and facilities.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Develop leadership capabilities, provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure proper training and competency development for the entire field staff.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to Greylock core values.
- Present at safety meetings and conduct site inspections.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, tribal agencies, and other production companies.
- Provide reports on operational performance, safety metrics, and production levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field OR equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in oil and gas field operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership, project management, or supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of oilfield production systems, drilling operations, and well optimization.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, BSEE, etc.) Familiarity with operational software and SCADA systems is preferred.
