What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Engineer (Staff MLE) position at Greylock?
Summary:
Looking to network with Staff/Sr. Staff-level Machine Learning Engineers who have proven expertise taking robust AI solutions to scale (this is not just POC work). Priority given to candidates with 5 years of industry experience who have worked for market-leading companies and have prior startup experience as well.
In addition, we're targeting candidate with 1 years of industry exp with Generative AI:
- LLM Frameworks: Demonstrated expertise working with Large Language Models such as OpenAI’s GPT series (GPT-3, GPT-4)--including model integration, customization, and optimization within diverse applications.
- LLM Fine-Tuning and Transfer Learning: Proven experience in fine-tuning LLMs for specific tasks or industries, including the use of transfer learning techniques to adapt pre-trained models to new domains or requirements.
- Data Handling Skills: Proficiency in handling, processing, and analyzing large datasets. Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and tools (e.g., Pandas in Python) is crucial.
