The Leasing Professional will be responsible for executing the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role will involve performing all activities related to leasing and marketing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, and showing apartment homes
* Processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks
* Preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing
* Collecting pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and recording as appropriate
* Updating the market survey to stay informed about current market and competitor conditions
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of leasing professional experience or 5 years of sales/customer service experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is also essential. Proficiency in property management software applications is required.
