What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Learning (ML) Engineer position at Grid Dynamics?
We are seeking a highly skilled ML Engineer to join our team. You will work on creating robust and scalable systems, enhancing our project code base, and ensuring seamless integration pipelines.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement complex LLM applications for enterprise-scale solutions
- Lead LLM quality evaluation initiatives, including developing metrics and automated testing frameworks
- Drive LLM/VLM fine-tuning projects, including dataset preparation and optimization
- Develop and maintain ML pipelines following MLOps best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions
- Mentor team members on ML engineering best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions for ML systems
- Evaluate and implement new ML technologies and frameworks
- Document technical designs and maintain engineering standards
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing complex LLM applications, including multimodal, RAG, and agent-based systems
- Proven experience with LLM quality evaluation, including metric design and automation frameworks
- Strong background in LLM/VLM fine-tuning and distributed training frameworks (Ray or similar)
- Expert-level Python programming skills with focus on ML/data applications
- Solid understanding of MLOps and LLMOps principles and best practices
- Experience with production ML systems and scalable data processing pipelines
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field preferred
