Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating information in our system as well as communicating directly with our customers. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. Responsibilities:
- Type in data provided directly from customers, web portals, and emails.
- Create error-free data entries within our Transportation Management Software (TMS)
- Verify data accuracy by comparing it to source documents.
- Update existing data in the database.
- Retrieve data from electronic files as requested.
- Answer telephone calls and assist or transfer them to the correct parties.
- Communicate with drivers and customers via text, phone, or email.
- Generate permits accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring proper coordination.
- Ability to create Overweight and Over-dimensional permits
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
- Strong clerical skills, including typing, filing, and organizing
- Familiarity with databases and data entry processes
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a team and meet deadlines
If you have experience with administrative tasks, customer service, or other advanced data entry techniques, it would be considered an asset.

Please note that this is not a remote position. You will be expected to work on-site at our office location. Hours are from 6 AM to 3 PM.
