Shift:
This position would be Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm-12am (midnight). Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring a welcoming and safe atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Receive all resident packages and track electronically. Notify residents through the online portal when a package is ready for pickup.
- Monitor door security systems and cameras, conduct daily inspections of the property for vandalism, damage, and safety.
- Walk properties to ensure all doors and access points are closed and secure.
- Track all resident requests when the management office is closed with proper attention to detail, recording all information in the daily activity log.
- Greet everyone entering the building with a friendly service attitude and tone.
- Communicate with residents and management in person, by email, and by telephone.
- Learn the names of residents, managers, and colleagues and always greet by name when able.
- Complete detailed incident reports and provide to the Property Manager as soon as possible.
- Learn and follow emergency procedures. Must have strong knowledge of all aspects of the property and where everything is located and how to direct residents.
- Monitor tenant parking assignments, contact tow company to remove unauthorized vehicles when necessary.
- Report elevator malfunction and other common area maintenance to property management.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Keep accurate records of incidents or issues that arise during shifts.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the hotel, hospitality, and/or customer service industries.
- 1-2 years of experience in a security position preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
