Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of assigned projects from scope development to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Manage civil engineering tasks, including site preparation, grading, drainage, and utilities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
- Supervise the erection of structural components, ensuring compliance with engineering designs.
- Monitor workmanship quality and enforce safety protocols.
- Oversee improvements to utility systems (compressed air, industrial gases, water, electrical, etc.).
- Manage infrastructure projects as standalone initiatives or as support for other projects, such as new equipment installations.
- Oversee the installation of both standard and automated equipment.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to ensure proper installation and performance testing.
- Lead commissioning efforts, ensuring systems and equipment are fully operational.
- Develop and implement testing procedures to verify system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Communicate project goals, expectations, and progress updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes.
- Prepare regular project reports documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the AME team.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing civil, structural, and equipment installation projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to oversee and inspect project sites.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of automated manufacturing systems.
