Position Overview
The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions within the organization. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a customer service orientation, and an eye for detail. The HR Generalist will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and payroll assistance. They will serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring timely responses and efficient resolution of issues. Additionally, the HR Generalist will collaborate closely with managers and directors to facilitate recruitment efforts, streamline onboarding procedures, and support payroll functions.
Job Duties
Administrative (45%):
- Promptly respond to employee inquiries with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Process new hire paperwork, including creating new hire files, running background checks, entering new hire data, completing E-Verify procedures, and sending welcome emails.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform exit interviews and conduct 90-day follow-ups with new hires to assess their integration and address any concerns.
Recruitment (40%):
- Post new positions on appropriate job boards and internal platforms.
- Manage data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
- Screen applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate suitability and interest.
- Coordinate on-site interviews with hiring managers and directors.
- Collaborate with hiring stakeholders to identify recruitment needs and strategies.
Onboarding (10%):
- Meet with new hires to facilitate the completion of new hire paperwork and discuss company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate Occupational Health medical clearances as required.
- Assist new hires in enrolling in benefits programs.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles within the organization.
Payroll (5%):
- Assist with time and attendance tracking.
- Enter payroll information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track any additional time worked and ensure proper compensation.
Position Information
Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The hiring range is between $58,000 to $60,000* a year. Benefits include generous PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, access to fitness center and many discounts!

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 years experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and recruitment experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
